What you need to know:

  • Updated 7/13/2012: Effective Wednesday, July 18, 2012, NASDAQ OMX® will begin disseminating the following new indexes on the Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDSSM):
  • Lyons Tactical Allocation Index (Symbol: LTAXP)
  • Lyons Tactical Allocation Total Return Index (Symbol: LTAX)
  • Please note: The index symbols have been modified.

What are the new indexes?

The Lyons Tactical Allocation Index tracks the performance of a portfolio of up to 25 securities whose issuer is incorporated and domiciled in the United States (US) and files reports with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The index rebalances between domestic equities and fixed income ETFs or fixed income mutual funds according to a tactical allocation model that evaluates the relative attractiveness of equity and fixed income market sectors.

How will the index be disseminated?

Updated 7/13/2012: Effective Wednesday, July 18, 2012, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed. Please note: The index symbols have been updated.

NASDAQ OMX will identify this index via the following data elements in GIDS:

Please note: NASDAQ OMX will not support an official Index Settlement Value at this time.
